Cinzia Angelini is an British animator at DreamWorks Animation.
Career[]
She director and creator of animated films, has worked for major studios in the animation industry for more than twenty-five years. While she started out as both a 2D and 3D animator, she later became a story artist for Warner Brothers, Sony Imageworks, Duncan Studio, Walt Disney Animation Studios, DreamWorks and Illumination Entertainment. She known for his work on includes Balto, The Prince of Egypt, The Road to El Dorado, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, Shrek 2, Madagascar, Spider-Man 2, Bolt, The Minions Movie, Despicable Me 3, The Grinch, Abominable and Super Pets. Cinzia is also the director of Hitpig, an upcoming Aniventure animated feature set for release in 2024, and produced at Cinesite.
Cinzia wrote and directed the award-winning Mila, a CG short film about a little girl whose life takes an unexpected turn in WWII. The film was produced thanks to the heroic efforts of an international team of 350 volunteers that she and her team assembled from over 35 countries.

As one of 83 films under consideration for the 94th Academy Awards, Mila also garnered more than 74 film festival wins worldwide, including the Humanitarian Kinéo Award at the 78th Venice Film Festival.
Personal life[]
The notoriety she gained from her development of the virtual studio and crew for Mila led to invitations to speak at TEDx Trento in 2017, and TEDx Vail in 2018. There she introduced her idea of bridging cultural diversity through the magic of animation.
Cinzia has an unbridled passion for all types of animation. Her years directing at the helm of the large, international crew for Mila, combined with the experience she gained as animator and story artist on some of the biggest animated features of our time, give her a unique ability to develop, write and direct a wide spectrum of projects.
